Soap Opera Dialogue

Regardless of one's view on soap opera's one thing is certain. They continue to be the lifeline to millions of viewers around the world.  Soap Opera's are mini ongoing movies in which people involve their life around to make certain they miss nothing.  Traditional soaps were in the broadcast arena known as radio and has since then transitioned over the years along with the times.

IF your life is a soap opera what is your title?  Once you have established the title do you have an idea of your theme song?  How many characters do you start out with and what is your demographic setting?  These questions and many more are the exact ones in which I am using to establish my very own soap opera.  I am not famous nor rich so it means I have to do all the lines myself.

What I actually hope to gain from this experience is an improvement in my writing skill and knowledge along with a deepened appreciation for the art of entertainment itself.

SCENE 1
Buck has decided to change his surroundings by first changing his mind and views. Buck enrolls into a local college to learn how to operate a broadcast company from the ground up.  Professor Klouse is Buck's mentor who consults Buck on which classes to take in order to become successful.  Professor Klouse is the half brother to Mother Pearl.  Mother Pearl owns a non for profit organization which donates alot of revenue to the campaign of Mayor Sandoval in election years as well as other private funded campaigns to aid other constituants in city development.  Detective Woodard has been notified of a cold case which has been placed as a priority matter and no room for failure tag has been established with a threat to reveal a past he was unaware of himself. 

JODY---"Eventually i will find out the truth. Until then, I have to keep my eyes open."

ELISE---"There is nothing better than momma's cornbread to make you feel better!"

XAVIER---"hey...has anyone seen my backpack?

ELISE---"the camoflouge one?"

XAVIER---"YEAH!"
