Today in music by genre you are getting what you pay for up until we get to rap music. Right now rap music or gangsta rap has taken a turn for the untrue. What rap music does not realize is that its followers believe the story told oppose to knowing what the story is. If you are out of Miami are you really controlling the ports. The ports were and are older than you! Do you really want the world to believe that you have it all under your personal control? I guess the government is so torn apart within itself that the average rapper who can read can make as much money selling cocaine and prostitution from these very ports. Wow! Way to go America. We are truly teaching ourselves. I thought I was a bad father because I don't know all about the real estate game, stock market game, small business and banking game, and the list continues. I guess my old school upbringing based on love, life, and persuit of rejoiceful living was more to handle than living bound by the rules of a game of self worth by accumilation! Today or this weekend rather I shall be celebrating birth for it's my nieces birthday! We shall be celebrating as family. We understand our days are always numbered and depending on which number you pick will be the basis of what day you have! I question and challenge everyone to look inside and outside and be honest! I tried drinking. I remember now why I am not a drinker. You guys must love the after effects. Somehow I acquired a hang over from only 3 miller genuine drafts short necks. I did not want to hear anything. I did not want to move. My question is this? When do you decide as an alcoholic that you prefer the pain of the after effects?

Today we listen to all genre's from snap to trunk to house to dance hall and around the world. The question i pose is when do you decide your music is a commercial or an honest to God message? I as an artist myself I know the pressure involved to lose yourself and comform to the mainstream thought process of mass manufactured money, i mean music. When does money become more important than enlightenment? When did enlightenment lose its edge and purpose amongst the people? Whenever or whatever you decided ask yourself this simple question. "Did God give me the music or did my ego give me the music?"
